Tulips
Often representative of fame, red tulips signify more specifically a declaration of love. Striped tulips announce ‘you have beautiful eyes’ and yellow symbolizes hopeless love.

Ranunculus
Part of a group of plants that include the buttercup and which convey messages of ‘you are radiant with charms’ and ‘rich in attractions’ – ideal for boosting a friend’s flagging spirit.
